Guía rápida
Chicago is the Broadway musical with the longest run after The Phantom of the Opera, racking up more than 20 straight years of great jazz and spectacular choreography.
It's an excellent pick if you're trying to decide which Broadway show is the best one to catch during your stay in NYC.

The Plot of Chicago the Musical
It's a story set in Chicago during Prohibition, based on a 1926 play inspired by real crimes.
The show skewers the corruption of the American justice system and, above all, the showbiz machine that grows up around famous criminals.
You probably know the story already, since it was popularized by Rob Marshall's 2002 film of the same name, starring Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renée Zellweger.
Famous Cast Members
Jaime Camil, the Latino actor who plays Rogelio de la Vega on Jane the Virgin, has taken on the role of lawyer Billy Flynn (Richard Gere in the film).
That leading role went to Patrick Swayze back in 2003.
Roxie Hart, the housewife who dreams of fame (Renée Zellweger in the movie), was played by Melanie Griffith in 2003.
