Aladdin Broadway Tickets: Prices, Seats and Smart Tips
Guía rápida
Aladdin is a musical comedy for the whole family, inspired by the Disney movie.
It's a Broadway adaptation of the story of Aladdin and the genie in the lamp, and it has gotten excellent reviews.
Remember, to really say you've been to New York you have to see a Broadway musical, and Aladdin is a great pick if you're traveling with kids.

The story of Aladdin
The musical is based on the story of poor Aladdin and the genie trapped in an old lamp, a tale from One Thousand and One Nights.
Add to that Jasmine, the gorgeous character Disney created.
Aladdin comes from the same producers as the hit The Lion King musical, so get ready for a show full of magic and color.
Buying cheap tickets to Aladdin
- Aladdin tickets are among the most affordable on Broadway, which makes them very popular. To lock in your seats, buy your tickets online ahead of time, at least a month before your trip.
- If you don't care about a specific seat, choose «automatic seat assignment» when you buy your tickets. You might end up with great seats or terrible ones, but they're the cheapest!
- Morning and matinee performances are much cheaper than evening shows.
- If your trip happens to line up with Broadway Week, you can get 2 tickets for 1 (September and the second half of January).
- You can try your luck at the TKTS booths the same day, but there's no guarantee you'll get tickets (read up on how to buy discounted tickets at TKTS)
Audio guides in Spanish
If you don't want to miss a single plot point, you can rent Spanish audio guides right at the theater (around US$ 10).
It isn't a word-for-word translation, more like commentary that sets up each scene and helps you follow the story.
But if you've seen the movie or know the Aladdin tale, you really don't need it. Just sit back and enjoy the music and the choreography with no distractions 😉
How long is Aladdin
The show runs 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
Doors open 45 minutes before the show, and they ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Recommended age
It's recommended for ages 6 and up, though younger kids are allowed in.
There are no reduced prices for children. Everyone pays the same.
Selfies with the cast
Part of the fun is heading around to the back of the theater (the Stage Door) to wait for the actors to come out.
After the show, some cast members usually sign autographs, pose for photos and hang out with the audience for a bit.
Ask an usher for the exact location of the stage door.
